Brand management that keeps your catalogue yours.

Unauthorised sellers, hijacked buy boxes and listings quietly edited by someone else are not rare problems. They are ordinary consequences of an open marketplace, and they are largely preventable.

  • Brand Registry enrolment
  • Stronger catalogue control
  • Seller and infringement monitoring

1 · Brand Registry

The foundation everything else needs

REQUIRES A REGISTERED TRADEMARK

YOUR CATALOGUE STAYS YOURS

Enforcement without control is a permanent game of catch-up. Lock the catalogue first, then chase infringers.

The problem

Someone else is editing your listings.

Brand control problems usually surface as something else: a conversion drop, a suppressed ASIN, a sudden margin squeeze. The cause is often the same.

Listing content changes that nobody on your team made.

Unauthorised sellers on your ASINs undercutting your price.

Buy box lost on your own branded products.

Counterfeit or grey-market units generating negative reviews against your brand.

Images or copy replaced with lower-quality versions from another seller.

No Brand Registry enrolment, so several enhanced protection and brand-building tools are unavailable.

Why Brand Registry is the foundation

Without Brand Registry, catalogue influence and monitoring are more limited. Rights owners can still report suspected IP infringement through Amazon’s public reporting route, while enrolled brands gain additional tools and role-based controls.

Enrolment unlocks additional tools for catalogue accuracy, A+ Content, Sponsored Brands, Brand Analytics and eligible infringement reporting.

Brand Registry generally accepts an eligible registered or pending trademark. Some enforcement tools remain limited until the trademark is fully registered, so the exact route depends on status and marketplace.

The approach

Enrol, lock, monitor, enforce.

In that order. Chasing hijackers before locking content down means fixing the same listing repeatedly.

Why enforcement comes last, not first

Enforcement without control is catch-up. New sellers appear continuously on any catalogue worth copying, so monitoring matters more than any single takedown.

Enrol

Brand Registry, with trademark verification and brand profile setup. Everything else depends on this.

Foundation

Document and control

Authoritative brand content documented, Brand Registry roles reviewed, variations checked and catalogue changes monitored.

Reduce unwanted edits

Monitor & enforce

Ongoing monitoring of sellers, buy box, content changes and suspected infringement, followed by the appropriate reporting or supply-chain route.

Ongoing

Whether counterfeits are fully solvable depends on your supply chain as much as Amazon’s tools, and we are direct about which part of the problem sits where.

What’s included

What our Amazon brand management services cover.

Enrol, lock down, monitor, enforce, kept consistent across every marketplace you sell in.

Brand Registry enrolment

Full enrolment including trademark verification and brand profile setup. Where a trademark is still in progress, we advise on route and timing.

Listing content control

Authoritative brand content documented, variation structure reviewed and catalogue changes monitored. Brand Registry strengthens your influence but does not make every listing permanently uneditable.

Unauthorised seller monitoring

Ongoing monitoring for new sellers on your ASINs, with a documented escalation route from first notice to formal reporting.

Violation reporting

Suspected IP infringement reported through the correct Amazon route with evidence matched to the right involved right. Authentic unauthorised resellers are handled differently from counterfeit or IP cases.

Transparency & Project Zero

Where eligibility and counterfeit exposure justify it, we assess Transparency and Project Zero. Project Zero’s self-service removals are for confirmed counterfeit listings and require careful, accurate use.

Multi-marketplace consistency

Brand presence, content and enforcement kept consistent across UK, US and EU rather than diverging market by market.

How we work

How we secure a brand.

The sequence matters. Chasing hijackers before locking content means fixing the same listing repeatedly.

Stage 1

Audit and enrol

Current brand status, trademark position and catalogue exposure assessed. Brand Registry enrolment completed or corrected.

Stage 2

Document and strengthen control

Authoritative listing versions documented, roles and variations reviewed, and monitoring established across the catalogue.

Stage 3

Monitor

Ongoing watch on seller activity, buy box and listing changes, so problems surface in days rather than at the next quarterly review.

Stage 4

Enforce

Suspected violations are matched to the correct reporting route and tracked. Counterfeit, IP infringement, authentic resale and supply-chain leakage are treated as different problems.

Brand control is maintenance, not a project. New sellers appear continuously on any catalogue worth copying, which is why monitoring matters more than any single enforcement action.

How it works commercially

What you are buying, and what you are not.

Brand control is a real, ongoing process. It is not a promise that every bad actor disappears overnight.

Amazon brand management FAQs

Brand Registry generally accepts an eligible registered or pending trademark from a supported intellectual-property office. Some tools, including trademark-based Report a Violation access, remain limited until the trademark is fully registered.

There is no single removal switch. Counterfeit and genuine IP infringement can be reported through the appropriate Amazon route. Authentic unauthorised resellers, grey-market stock and distributor leakage usually require supply-chain, contractual or legal action outside Amazon’s standard infringement process.

A programme applying unique codes to units so Amazon can verify authenticity before shipping. Effective against counterfeits, but it adds real operational cost. It suits some brands and is unnecessary overhead for many.

Other contributors can still submit catalogue changes. Brand Registry roles, authoritative content and ongoing monitoring strengthen your influence and make unwanted edits easier to identify and challenge, but they do not permanently lock every field.

It creates the monitoring, evidence and reporting process. Project Zero can support eligible brands with confirmed counterfeit listings, while Transparency can authenticate units. The right solution depends on the infringement and your supply chain.

An Amazon brand management agency coordinates Brand Registry roles, catalogue accuracy, seller monitoring, evidence collection and the correct escalation route. The value is treating catalogue, infringement and supply-chain issues as different problems rather than filing the same report repeatedly.
